Abstract

Ao confrontar as trajetórias artísticas de Caetano Veloso e de Chico Buarque encontramos perspectivas paralelas e complementares sobre temáticas do cotidiano urbano e da cultura em geral. São artistas que realizam um exercício concomitante com a canção, suas tradições e linguagens, delineando projetos artísticos mais amplos e já esboçados no limiar de suas carreiras. Neste trabalho identificamos esses projetos iniciais, suas permanências e desdobramentos em algumas canções e performances artísticas.
