Conhecimento científico e Desenvolvimento Regional: uma análise bibliométrica das produções empreendedoras

Este artigo propõe medir a natureza empreendedora do conhecimento através da lei de Lotka, aplicada ao contexto do desenvolvimento regional. Considerando a bibliometria como ferramenta metodológica, foram selecionados apenas artigos sobre empreendedorismo acadêmico publicados nos últimos dez anos nas bases de dados Web of Science e Scopus Elsevier. A investigação dos materiais coletados foi subdividida em análise de desempenho, mapeamento científico, distribuição de Lotka e análise qualitativa das produções mais relevantes. Observou-se que o índice distributivo de Lotka, se de forma isolada, mostrou-se fraco para tratar ou investigar o nível de empreendedorismo aplicado ao desenvolvimento regional. Recomenda-se a inclusão de outras bases de dados científicas, utilizando uma combinação de métodos de mensuração híbridos e mais robustos.
