Publication ethics
The Comuni@ccion journal promotes responsible conduct in research and rejects research malpractice. The use of ideas, texts, figures of other authors without giving the respective credit constitutes plagiarism; as well as, the fabrication, falsification of data and misconduct are frauds in the publication, so the journal Comuni@ccion does not tolerate any. In order to avoid publication fraud, the following ethical procedure mechanisms are established:
- Review of texts using plagiarism detectors available on the network as a filter for the article evaluation process.
- Peer opinion on the conformity of originality and quality of the article.
- When an article is detected and confirmed after publication acts of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification of data and misconduct, will proceed according to the guidelines and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE http://publicationethics.org/), which could cause the withdrawal.
- Articles published in the Comuni@cción journal may not be republished in other similar journals.
- The journal will be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when necessary.
